The inaugural MidBrains Undergraduate Neuroscience Conference was held at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Saturday, April 28th, 2007. Both the 2008 conference (May 3, 2008) and 2009 conference (May 2, 2009) were also hosted by Macalester College. MidBrains 2010 was held at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN on May 1, 2010, and MidBrains 2011 was there as well, on April 30, 2011. The rotation moved to Carleton College for 2012 and 2013 and to the Fall Semester, when it is now permanently scheduled and complements the annual SfN meeting. The conference was hosted in St. Paul, MN by Bethel University in 2014 and 2015 and the University of St. Thomas in 2016, 2017, and 2018. To broaden participation and involve additional institutions, the conference was hosted outside Minnesota for the first time in 2019. Augustana College (IL) hosted the 2019 and 2020 meetings, and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire hosted the 2021 and 2022 meetings.
